About Pete Basso
Pete Basso was led to the OK200 Ride during the second year of the campaign. As a lifetime competitive cyclist, Pete was always looking for a way to give back to others while peddling his bike, this was the perfect opportunity. He has been married for 17 years to Anni Basso and is the father of 3 sweet little girls, (Ava, Irelynn and Isabelle), who continue to ratchet up his passion for this cause. “Imagining any of my girls dealing with the strife these survivors have gone through absolutely brings this issue home to my house and envokes a fire in me”
Pete has spent a majority of his career in a sales and management capacity. Currently working with EcoSmart Fire, Pete manages the wholesale business transacted in North America.
Pete Says, “The OK200 intertwines my friends, family and the community as a single unbreakable will to serve others in a way that has a direct effect on survivors. Together we raise money, awareness and educational tools that provide opportunities to not just help survivors, but to provide a direct line to pull victims from this horrific lifestyle. The OK200 is not just a ride, its a lifeline for me and for the survivors.”

They give us a percentage of the receipts we collect from our friends […]
